Political Man by Seymour Martin Lipset (1960) majorly explain the requisites to sustain democracy. He argues that economic development (wealth, industrialization, urbanization, and education) facilitates democracy by influencing political culture and class structure. Learning from history, Lipset emphasized that a high level of education is necessary but not yet sufficient to sustain democracy. Better education will help people to broaden outlook, to be more tolerant, restrain them from extreme doctrines and increase their capacity to electoral choices which eventually lead them to construct a more democratic political culture. On the Wednesday, 6th June 2018, I got to opportunity from INFID to participate in the launch of Indonesia Economic Quarterly, a report created by World Bank, supported by funding from Australian Government under the support for Enhanced Macroeconomic and Fiscal Policy Analysis (SEMEFPA) program at IDX Main Hall, Indonesia Stock Exchange Building, SCBD. Having theme “Learning more, growing faster”, World Bank Indonesia emphasized the importance of quality education toward Indonesia economy. The event was opened by  Rodrigo A. My friend and I came to the public discussion held by FPCI at Bengkel Diplomasi FPCI, Mayapada Tower 1 on March 8th, 2019. The discussion brought the theme "The New Geoeconomics and Geopolitics in Asia" featuring Ambassador Chan Heng Chee, Ambassador-at-Large, Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs.   FPCI itself stands for Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia. It is a non-political and independent non-profit organization engaged in international relations.
