Summary of Talking ASEAN in “ASEAN Day: Towards a Domestically Relevant, Regionally Engaging and Globally Active ASEAN”

The Habibie Center conducted a dialogue with the theme “ASEAN Day: Towards a Domestically Relevant, Regionally Engaging, and Globally Active ASEAN on August 9 th , 2018 at The Habibie Center, Jakarta. The Speakers of this forum are H.E. Amb. Ade Padmo Sarwono (Permanent Representative of Indonesia to ASEAN), Mahmudi Yusbi (Program Manager, ASEAN Foundation) and Avyanthi Azis (Lecturer at International Relations Department, University of Indonesia) with A. Ibrahim Almuttaqi (Head of ASEAN study at The Habibie Center) as moderator. The implementation of this forum aims to: a) explore ways for ASEAN to always relevant for its people b) identify challenges and opportunities for ASEAN to become regional stabilizers and c) explore ways to make ASEAN one of the center for world peace, security, and prosperity. Summary of PWYP Asia Pacific Regional Meeting 2018

I got the opportunity from INFID to attend PWYP Asia Pacific Regional Meeting on August 8 th , 2018 at Morrissey Hotel Jakarta. The Launch of Indonesia Economic Quarterly – June 2018 Edition, the Flagship Publication of the World Bank Office Jakarta

On the Wednesday, 6th June 2018, I got to opportunity from INFID to participate in the launch of Indonesia Economic Quarterly, a report created by World Bank, supported by funding from Australian Government under the support for Enhanced Macroeconomic and Fiscal Policy Analysis (SEMEFPA) program at IDX Main Hall, Indonesia Stock Exchange Building, SCBD. Having theme “Learning more, growing faster”, World Bank Indonesia emphasized the importance of quality education toward Indonesia economy. The event was opened by  Rodrigo A. Chaves , Country Director of World Bank Indonesia and representative of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Summary of The New Geo-economics and Geopolitics in Asia, a Public Discussion Held by FPCI at Bengkel Diplomasi FPCI, Mayapada Tower 1 on March 8th, 2019

My friend and I came to the public discussion held by FPCI at Bengkel Diplomasi FPCI, Mayapada Tower 1 on March 8th, 2019. The discussion brought the theme "The New Geoeconomics and Geopolitics in Asia" featuring Ambassador Chan Heng Chee, Ambassador-at-Large, Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs.   FPCI itself stands for Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia. It is a non-political and independent non-profit organization engaged in international relations. The FPCI was formed in 2014 by Dr Dino Patti Djalal and has grown rapidly into a foreign relations community in Indonesia with approximately 40,000 members in its network.
